For the second consecutive year, SICE has participated in the ‘Kilómetros Sin Huella’ initiative, reaffirming its commitment to sustainability and carbon footprint reduction. Following our contribution in 2024, this year we have reinforced our support with the donation of two trees and eight shrubs of various species, planted on March 21 in the municipality of Alcobendas.

Our contribution will enable the absorption of approximately 1,005 kg of CO2 over the next 30 years, helping to neutralize the emissions generated by the sporting activities of Alejandro Geppert, founder of the initiative. Beyond its environmental impact, this action enhances local biodiversity and raises awareness about the importance of sustainability within the community. In total, the 2025 edition of the event saw the planting of 25 trees and 80 shrubs, with an estimated carbon absorption of 10.36 tons of CO2. SICE is proud to be part of this project and remains committed to promoting initiatives that contribute to building a more sustainable future.
