SICE Mexico has been signing contracts with the different subsidiaries of PEMEX (Petroleos Mexicanos) since the 1990s, implementing integrated plant automation, security and communications projects. Subsequently, in late 2012, SICE was awarded the contract for the Modernisation of the communications, ITS, Toll, and electronic toll systems, and the Operation and Maintenance of the Atlacomulco-Maravatío roadway section, for BANOBRAS (Banco Nacional de Obras y Servicios), and has since been implementing Toll and ITS projects in the country on a recurring basis for clients such as OCACSA-EGIS, OPCEM, PINFRA, and more. In addition, SICE was part of the consortium responsible for the Modernisation of the critical communications infrastructure (TETRA Network) for the Mexico City METRO.
