SICE Australia and New Zealand successfully completes ISO 37001:2025 certification audit

SICE Australia and New Zealand has successfully completed the Bureau Veritas certification audit for ISO 37001:2025 and has been recommended for certification for its Anti-Bribery Management System.

The certification audit covered SICE PTY LTD and SICE NZ LTD, including the management of financial and non-financial controls designed to mitigate bribery risks across the organisation’s activities in Australia and New Zealand.

The certification process was conducted by Bureau Veritas in two phases, with Phase I completed on 7 May 2026 and Phase II conducted from 18 to 21 May 2026. The audit resulted in no major nonconformities and no minor nonconformities, confirming the maturity and effectiveness of SICE ANZ’s anti-bribery framework. The audit also identified two opportunities for improvement, supporting the organisation’s ongoing commitment to continual improvement.

ISO 37001 is an international standard for anti-bribery management systems. It provides a framework for organisations to prevent, detect and respond to bribery risks through leadership commitment, risk assessment, due diligence, financial and non-financial controls, training, reporting mechanisms, internal audit, management review and continual improvement.

For SICE Australia and New Zealand, this milestone reflects the systems, controls and everyday decisions that support responsible business conduct. It also reinforces the importance of trust in the delivery of complex infrastructure and technology projects.

“This result reflects the importance we place on integrity, accountability and trust in the way we do business,” said Manuel González Arrojo, Managing Director of SICE ANZ. “It recognises the work carried out across our teams to maintain effective controls and embed compliance into our day-to-day operations.”

The Bureau Veritas audit reviewed key elements of SICE ANZ’s Anti-Bribery Management System, including governance arrangements, documented processes, compliance risk assessment, financial and non-financial controls, training, communication, reporting, internal audit and management review activities. The audit report noted the effective implementation of the management system and the existence of structured documentation, including policies, risk and control matrices, defined processes and procedures supporting the maintenance and improvement of the system.

This achievement was supported by teams across the organisation, including Senior Management, Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, Legal, HSEQ, Business Development, IT, Compliance and project teams.

SICE Australia and New Zealand will continue strengthening its compliance framework as part of its broader commitment to ethical conduct, transparency, good governance and continual improvement.
