SICE has successfully completed the fabrication and installation of the first mainline toll gantry for the Hidalgo County Regional Mobility Authority’s (HCRMA) 365 Toll Project in Hidalgo County, Texas. This gantry is the first of nine that will make up the All-Electronic Open-Road Tolling System specifically designed for this new corridor.
The 365 Toll Project is a strategic component of the county’s long-term transportation and economic development plan. SICE was selected as the toll system integrator to carry out the final design, installation, testing, implementation, operation, and maintenance of the barrier-free toll collection system.
The scope of work includes the deployment of roadside equipment (RSE), a fully operational back-office system, and an online maintenance management system (MOMS). SICE will also be responsible for the system’s operation and maintenance, including image review services, through 2030.
With this milestone, SICE continues to strengthen its footprint in the U.S. market, where it has delivered numerous electronic tolling and intelligent transportation system projects across several states. Notable implementations include the SH-288 Express Lanes in Houston and Toll 49 in Tyler, Texas, further establishing SICE as a trusted technology partner in advanced mobility solutions.
We thank the HCRMA for their ongoing support and participation, as well as the devotion of our project teams and subcontractors in completing this huge accomplishment safely and on time.
