The SR99 tunnel is a two-storey tunnel under downtown Seattle. Throughout the 7 years of tunnel construction, SICE was subcontracted as systems integrator for this design-build project by the main contractor (Seattle Tunnel Partners JV) and was responsible for the design, supply, logistics, installation, testing and commissioning of our own Tunnel Management and Control System (TMCS) solution (SIDERA), as well as some of the critical ICA systems for the Seattle Tunnel Project.
