Maintenance and operation of the 30 Automatic Alert Stations (‘EAA’) of the Automatic Water Quality Information System (‘SAICA’) of the Duero River Basin. The data obtained are sent via satellite (VSAT) in real time to the Basin Control Centre (‘CCC’), located in the Confederation’s office in Valladolid, where they are integrated and managed. The system provides real-time monitoring of the main discharge areas in the basin, enabling rapid detection of discharges and helping to locate the possible causes.
