This project involved installing innovative systems to monitor meteorological variables on the AG64 Ferrol-As Pontes – Vilalba highway. The AG-64 highway is located in an area characterised by a complex geography (areas open to the sea, the estuary, mountainous areas and high altitudes, etc.). The weather stations monitor the variables of visibility, intensity and type of precipitation, wind direction and speed and parameters relating to the state of the road surface.
