Windsor-Essex is an 11 km corridor, of which 1.8 km are covered by 13 tunnels. SICE was involved in this project by successfully carrying out the installation, testing and integration of video surveillance components, the tunnel alarm system and variable-message panels to provide information to road users. With Windsor and Essex counties being the busiest border point between Canada and the United States, the Herb Gray Parkway is a key element in regulating traffic in the region.
