Ever since its foundation in 1921, Sociedad Ibérica de Construcciones Eléctricas (SICE), has been dedicated to researching, supplying and maintaining essential materials to cover public lighting requirements in each city. Throughout its history SICE has installed and maintained lighting in small and major cities, as well as for transport infrastructure and ornamental lighting.

From lighting with incandescent lamps at the beginning of the 20th century to modern systems based on LED devices, the technology used by SICE has evolved and each installation is adapted to customer requirements.

All different aspects, such as lighting options, efficiency, economy, safety and even aesthetics, are considerations that affect the final design of a lighting system. Lighting and traffic and transport control facilities are installations with high profiles among the population, meaning that not only are they required to be of good quality, but they also must provide a very high level of service.
