Until May 31, 2024, students from official engineering degrees from any Spanish university can submit their works completed during the academic years 2020-21, 2021-22, or 2022-23.

Projects should focus on innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, cybersecurity, information and communication technologies, electronics, among others, applied or with potential application in infrastructure management (smart mobility and urban services, traffic, tunnels, tolls, water management, environment, renewable energies, telecommunications, etc.). The range of topics covered can be as diverse as the infrastructures themselves: smart mobility and urban services, traffic, tunnels, tolls, water management, environment, renewable energies, telecommunications, and more.

The awards are divided into two categories:

  • Category I (Best TFG): Endowed with €400 and an accredited diploma.
  • Category II (Best TFM): Endowed with €600 and an accredited diploma.

Interested parties can find more information and details on how to participate on the SICE Chair website (http://catedrasice.unizar.es/).

The SICE Chair Awards are a recognition of the talent and innovation of future engineers, as well as an encouragement to continue driving technological development in the field of infrastructure management. With this initiative, the aim is to promote research and study in key areas for the progress and sustainability of our cities and urban environments.
