The main objective of the Ebro Automatic Water Information System (SAIH) is to collect, transmit, process and present information on the hydrological and hydraulic status of the Ebro river basin. This helps the Confederation to ensure that resources are available, surveillance is carried out and eventualities are anticipated. This SAIH uses its own communications infrastructure that supports the transmission and reception of information from the river basin’s control points, reservoirs and offices.
