Metropolitan Lima Traffic Control System that integrates the new network of traffic lights at more than 300 road intersections (both the control centre and the on-street equipment installed by SICE), equipped with video cameras, optical sensors, LED lights, electronic counters and a traffic controller that sends and receives information from the control centre. The information enables observation of the level of vehicle density and determination of peak traffic times during the day, thus regulating the green waves of the traffic lights.
