The Caldearenas, Arguis and Escusaguas tunnels, three new smart tunnels managed by the SIDERA-OP control platform developed by SICE, are located on the A-23 at Monrepós. This is a particularly unique project, with the difficulty involved in integrating tunnels from different suppliers and field technologies under the same control platform, allowing the tunnels to be operated at all times from both the local SCADAs and the SIDERA-OP Higher Platform at the Monrepós Control Centre.
