This contract includes the maintenance of the control points, the main basin control centre, the operation centres and the data dispatch points. All these elements are connected by a satellite communications system. Continued management and maintenance of the hydrological and hydraulic information of the basin is essential as the Tagus basin is one of the most important river basins on the Iberian Peninsula in terms of length and volume.
