The city of Toledo takes a firm step towards cleaner, safer, and more efficient mobility with the implementation of the SIDERA Enforcement platform, integrated within the Integral System of Sustainable and Efficient Urban Mobility.
This innovative system enables intelligent and automated control of the Low Emission Zone (LEZ), thanks to an advanced management module that centralizes the control of surveillance points, analysis of detections and infractions, configuration of authorizations, and the proposal of sanctions, all in a single intuitive and robust platform.

The technological deployment includes the installation of license plate recognition cameras (OCR), radars, red light camera systems, and variable message panels, all connected to the city’s communication network. Each element is installed following thorough civil works and is fully integrated into the urban mobility ecosystem.
Thanks to this system, Toledo reinforces its commitment to reducing emissions, controlling traffic, and improving road safety, establishing itself as a national benchmark in the implementation of sustainable technological solutions for urban management.
