From August 28 to 31, SICE will participate as a sponsor at the ITS Australia Global Summit to be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. The event will be the largest meeting of the year for the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) sector in Australia, with representatives from Asia-Pacific, Europe and the United States, and leaders from all Australian states and territories.
The ITS Australia Global Summit aims to explore innovative approaches to accelerate smarter, safer and more sustainable transport solutions in a sector that is constantly moving and transforming. The program includes technical visits, live demonstrations, networking events, plenary sessions and workshops for all attendees.
The general director of SICE ANZ, Manuel González Arrojo, will be part of this ambitious program by participating as a speaker in Breakout Session 13: Traffic Management Centers and Intelligent Infrastructure, on August 28 from 1:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During the session Manuel will talk about the advanced integrated operations management and control system (IOMCS), designed by SICE, and which already operates in the WestConnex highway control center, recognized as the most advanced highway control center in Australia.
