SICE, in 2011, was awarded with the complete toll system renewal for the Itchen Bridge in Southampton. The system deployed included roadside hardware and system provision, plaza overview and management tool and back-offices development (operational and commercial).
In order to keep providing the same level of service to its customers and extend its lifespan, in 2018 SICE started working together with Southampton City Council by identifying the elements that would be required to be upgraded.
As a result, SICE has upgraded the essential servers sustaining the system. This is DDBB, AMS, Public Portal and Back-up Management tool. Additionally, the AMS running the system and that is in charge of all Customer based accounts of the system has been upgraded, providing a quicker and more efficient tool.
