The municipality of the Ate-Vitarte District has chosen SICE for the extension of its video-surveillance system, with new 360º vision cameras, and the service continuity for four months.
In order to ensure this continuity, the system will be upgraded thanks to the installation of ten new dome IP PTZ cameras, in places where incidents have increased, which entails an augmentation of the displaying and surveillance capabilities.
In addition, continuity in system operation will be prioritized through the rental service of the optical fiber network, used for the video surveillance cameras broadcast, for a four-month period.
Other activities to be performed during the contract course are the update of the management and monitoring platform, scheduling a preventive maintenance for the four-month operation, the installation of a new air-conditioning equipment in the Control and Monitoring Center, as well as the installation of an additional server for the stocking of the images collected by the cameras with a storage period of 30 days.
The Ate district has a modern emergency center where highly qualified staff surveille the cameras, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, helping to catch criminals robbing people and damaging public transport vehicles.
With this awarding, SICE is entrenched as security services provider in Peru.
