SICE is involved in the STARDUST project as a supplier of the Smart City platform in Pamplona
SICE is involved in the pilot project held in Pamplona as a supplier of the Smart City platform. Pamplona, with the participation of its City Council, was one of the main cities involved in the project along with Tampere and Trento. In these cities, the "lighthouse projects" will be launched with pilot projects to be replicated in four other European cities: Cluj-Napola in Romania, Derry in Great Britain, Kozani in Greece and Litomerice in the Czech Republic.
The STARDUST project will help cities reduce their carbon emissions, improve their efficiency and be citizen-oriented through ICT solutions and business models integrating improvements in building rehabilitation, mobility and energy efficiency. The objective is to test and validate these solutions, allowing their prompt deployment in the market. This project will prove that the intelligent integration of these solutions, together with other measures, can provide an increase concerning the quality of life of citizens.
The cities above mentioned will work closely with industrial partners, including several local SMEs, supported by universities and research institutes.
