Access to and/or use of the SICE website (the “Site”) attributes the condition of user to
whoever effects such access or use, accepting immediately, fully and without reservation these
general terms of service, as well as any additional special conditions that may alter or replace
the general terms in respect of certain services and content on the Site.
II. Use of the Site, its services and content
The user undertakes to use the Site and its services and content without violating the
applicable legislation, good faith, generally accepted practices or public order.
Furthermore, use of the Site for illicit purposes or with damaging intent towards SICE or any
third party, or which in any way could damage or impede the normal functioning of the Site is
prohibited.
The following actions in respect of the content (information, texts, graphics, audio or image
files, photographs, designs, etc.) are prohibited:
Reproduction, distribution or alteration, unless such action is authorised by the legitimate
owners or is legally permitted.
Any infringement of the rights of SICE or the legitimate owners thereof.
Use for any commercial or promotional purposes of any kind other than those strictly
permitted.
Any attempt to obtain content from the Site by any jeans other than those made available to
users or commonly used on the Internet, provided that such action does not cause any damage
whatsoever to the Site.
III. Unilateral alterations
SICE may unilaterally and without prior notice alter the structure and design of the Site at
any time, or change or eliminate any services or content or the conditions of access and/or use of
the Site.
IV. Hyperlinks
The establishing of any "hyperlink" between any website and any of the pages on the Site is
subject to the following conditions:
No reproduction in full or in part of any of the services or content of the Site is
permitted.
No deep-links shall be established with the pages on the Site or its services, not shall any
browser or border environment be set up on them.
The website establishing such a hyperlink shall not contain any of brands, trade names,
business signs, names, logos, slogans or other distinctive signs belonging to SICE.
Under no circumstances shall SICE be liable for the content or services made available to the
public on the website from which such a hyperlink is established or any information or opinions
contained therein.
V. Exclusion of guarantees and liabilities
SICE offers no guarantees or accepts any responsibility under any circumstances for any
damages of any kind caused by:
Any lack of availability, maintenance or effective functioning of the Site or its services or
content.
Any lack of usefulness, adaptation or validity of the Site or its services or content to meet
any user’s specific needs, activities or expectations or achieve any specific results.
The existence of any viruses, malware or damaging content.
The receipt, obtaining, saving, dissemination or transmission of the content by users.
Any illicit, negligent or fraudulent use of the Site or its services or content by users in
contravention of these Terms of Service, good faith, generally accepted practices or public
order.
Any lack of legitimacy, quality, reliability, usefulness or availability of services rendered
by third parties and made available to users via the Site.
Any breach by third parties of their obligations or commitments in respect of services rendered
to users via the Site.
VI. Duration
The duration of the rendering of the Site service and associated services is indefinite.
Notwithstanding, SICE reserves the right to interrupt, suspend or terminate the rendering of
the Site service or any of the services included therein under the same terms set out in clause
three herein.
VII. Copyright
For the purposes of preserving copyright, in the event that any user or third party may
consider that any violation of legitimate rights has been effected in consequence of the inclusion
of any content on the Site, such user or third party should notify SICE of such circumstance,
indicating:
Personal details of the owner of the rights allegedly violated. If the claim is made by any
person other than such owner, details of the representation under which such person acts shall be
furnished.
Details of the allegedly copyright-protected content and its location on the Site.
Accreditation of the alleged copyright.
Express declaration that the claimant accepts responsibility for the accuracy of details
included in such notification.
The SICE mark and corresponding graphics are all registered trade marks. Any reproduction or
use thereof without the owner’s permission is prohibited.
The legitimacy of any copyright or industrial-property rights in respect of content supplied
by third parties is the sole liability of such parties.
VIII. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These General Terms of Service shall be governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Spain.
SICE and the user hereby waive any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them and agree
to be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of the user’s domicile for any
disputes that may arise or legal action brought in respect of the Site service or associated
services or content or in respect of the construction, application, compliance or breach of the
terms set out herein.
If the user’s domicile is outside Spanish territory, SICE and the user hereby waive any other
jurisdiction that may correspond to them and agree to be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts
and tribunals of the city of Madrid, Spain.
