SICE has been the company selected among 22 bidders to carry out the public lighting renovation in Carral within a five-month period
The project mainly aims at replacing 615 luminaires with LED technology, which will allow the municipality to save up to 70% regarding current consumption. Likewise, the installations’ efficiency will be optimized by the installation of astronomical switches and their safety will be improved thanks to the renovation of several damaged scorecards.
The 10-year guarantee proposed by SICE for the equipment offered will ensure to the City Council the full depreciation of the luminaires as well as the compliance with the current energy efficiency law.
The work has been entirely financed by the Ministry of Industry through IDAE within its aid program for the renovation of municipal facilities for outdoor lighting.
