Algeciras City Council entrusts to SICE the conservation and maintenance of the city’s traffic light facilities for four years

The excellent technical quality and modern quality control system offered by the company have been decisive on its choice as a contractor.

After more than 23 years of uninterrupted service, Sociedad Ibérica de Construcciones Eléctricas, S.A. has been awarded again the conservation of the Algecira’s traffic elements.

The contract includes the revision and maintenance of the whole network, which has 49 traffic lights and 16 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems that guarantee the electricity supply at the most conflicting crossings in the event of a power outage.

The maintenance will be carried out in order to keep the installations in perfect condition, maintaining the technical level achieved and minimizing the risks that may arise. It includes the control and repair of both existing facilities and those incorporated during the term of the contract.

At the time of awarding this contract, the City of Algeciras not only noticed the excellent technical quality on SICE’s proposal, but also highlighted the quality control system proposed by the company and the improvements that SICE will carry out in its maintenance plan.
