Contract awarded for passenger-information systems for Malaga Vialia
ADIF has called on SICE once again to implement the passenger-information system (SIV) for the new Malaga Vialia, within the framework of the Cordoba–Malaga HST project.

As part of the project to build the new Cordoba–Malaga HST line, the Building, Maintenance and
Operations department of the ADIF passenger-stations unit is renovating Malaga station in order to
be able to respond appropriately to future demand on the line.
The building of a new station has been considered, complete with a 1000-space underground car park, Vialia centre and a hotel.
The new Malaga station complex will include the Vialia centre, covering all the area comprising the platform heads and surrounding streets. This Vialia area includes areas for rail functions, from the car-park level to the passenger centres, departures, VIP room, commuter area and associated toilet facilities, together with the multiple-services pavilions and room for authorities.
SICE will implement the passenger-information system for this project, including:
A single operator will be able to manage all the information systems using a single intuitive, user-friendly application.

- Remote indicator panels
- Information displays
- PA system
- Clocks and clock-synchronisation system
- Passenger-service intercom system
A single operator will be able to manage all the information systems using a single intuitive, user-friendly application.
