The object of the contract is to develop and install the equipment and procedures necessary to commission an on-board user information system on buses, based on television broadcasts on TFT screens with both informational and advertising content.

It includes an audio system and connection to the bus's electronic-payment system, managed from a Services Management Centre located at the offices of the Asturias Transport Consortium (CTA).

The functionalities of the system are:

• Acquiring data from the rest of the on-board periphery
• Calculating route data
• Displaying information on monitors
• Issuing voice messages
• Presenting news and advertisements
