Madrid City Council awards SICE the contract to maintain its control systems for urban traffic in zone 3 of the city.
A mixed services/supplies contract called “Works for the Management and Conservation of Traffic-light-based Mobility-control systems: Lot 3”.

For the purposes of maintenance and new facilities, Madrid is divided into three zones. SICE has been awarded zone 3, which includes the intersections beyond the M30 to the north and west, from the Villa de Vallecas district to the Moncloa–Aravaca district, with a total of 516 local traffic-light-control regulators and all the auxiliary elements for communications with the control centre.
The contract includes the installation of a new central system for the management of the
regulators in the zone and the maintenance of the servers and software for the inventory, GIS and
public information on traffic status.
