The contract is part of the implementation and improvement project for Sants station in preparation for the arrival of the HST service, extending its intermodal capacity.

The underground car park will cover a total area of 38,000 square metres, distributed over four levels, with 1,074 parking spaces. It is one of two new car parks being built for the station.

SUMIPAR’s role in this project is to install, control and automate the car park’s entrances and payment system with a view to optimising operational management and enhancing the service for users.

Number-plate-reading systems and systems to manage and indicate free spaces will also be implemented.
